The lovely Amber of Culture Slut and Fight Boredom has written a review of issue #12 of Feels Like Friday:
Ivana opens this issue by saying that it may be her last one, which makes me a little sad. But I know she’s got other projects up her sleeve, so I’m gonna trust the girl. This is my favourite issue so far. She writes about feeling like the only student in her politics class who has the right to speak about the Former Yugoslavia, and confronting an elderly couple who were insulting her in Serbian on public transit; assuming that she didn’t understand the language. Yeah, she proved them wrong. It’s got a lot of her somewhat vague stream-of-consciousness style writing, but also touches on feminism, sexuality, and the death of an acquaintance. Cut and paste style, excellent read.
